Nominees should be able to explain how possessing exceptional industry experience and knowledge while providing a seamless and personable customer service experience has contributed to business growth over the past 12 months.

Nominees of Bridging Lender of the Year will be able to demonstrate a commitment to developing cost-effective products and supporting brokers in serving their clients. The winner of this category will regularly execute a competitive speed of delivery; offer total transparency to intermediaries and provide a relationship-based service, all of which will have contributed to business growth over the past 12 months.

NEW! This category celebrates smaller regional firms and is open to all intermediary broker businesses with 10 or fewer advisers. Nominees should be able to demonstrate that through effective management, innovative thinking and outstanding customer service they have made their business model more robust and profitable over the past 12 months.

The Broker of the Year award is open to all brokers (individuals) who have worked as a financial intermediary for 3 years or longer. This broker will have a reputation for excellence, significantly contributing to the growth of the business by consistently providing outstanding customer service and keeping their clients’ goals front of mind. They will be innovative, flexible and approachable.

The Conveyancing / Legal Business of the Year category is open to conveyancing firms, conveyancing platforms that directly facilitate the delivery of the conveyancing function and law firms specialising in property law. The winner of this award will be able to demonstrate industry leadership by offering transparent fees, a quick and cost-effective turnaround of services, unbeatable customer service and efficient and accurate work.

This award recognizes the individual, company, organization, brokerage, branch or office whose outstanding contribution of time, leadership and financial support over a sustained period of time, beyond normal expectations, has made significant impacts on the receiving causes or communities

General Insurance / Protection Provider of the Year nominees must offer a flexible and highly competitive product portfolio which enables intermediaries to protect their clients while placing business quickly and profitably. This category is open to all general insurance and protection providers who are able to demonstrate business growth in sales and explain how their products and services are driving the sector forward.

NEW! The winner of the Innovator Champion of the Year award will be an individual who deserves to be celebrated as a thought-leader and game-changer within the mortgage industry. This individual could be responsible for spearheading a diversity and inclusivity inititaive within their workplace or the industry, or perhaps their focus is on sustainability in the UK mortgage market. Their actions and forward-thinking behaviour has a significant and most importantly positive impact on their colleagues, customers and the wider market.

Later Life Lender of the Year nominees should be able to demonstrate that a significant portion of their business is dedicated to delivering mortgages and financial solutions to homeowners aged 55 or over. The winner of this category will offer a diverse and creative product portfolio as well as being able to provide intermediaries with the innovative tools and technology they need to give their clients peace of mind for the future.

Our Lifetime Achievement winner will be someone who is acknowledged by our industry experts as an ireplaceable cog in the mortgage industry machine. They will have devoted themselves to the mortgage sector for a significant period of time, and made a undeniable positive change to the market.

The winner of Mortgage Club of the Year will be able to prove that as an invaluable resource and link in the chain for individual lenders and intermediaries, they have also helped to provide better outcomes for the end customer. This category is open to all mortgage clubs positioned to provide their members access to a breadth of expertise and support from across the spectrum of financial advice, demonstrating their value to the intermediary community.

The brand new Rising Star Award celebrates the future of the intermediary. Nominees will have worked as a broker or distributor for 3 years or less, and will already be making strides in their sector, building strong relationships with clients and lenders and contributing to the growth of their business. They will be forward thinking, inclusive and encompass what it means to be the future of the UK specialist finance and mortgage industry.

The brand new Rising Star Award celebrates the future of lending and product services in the UK. Nominees will have worked for a lender or a service provider (as a BDM, conveyancer, surveyor, underwriter etc) for 3 years or less, and will already be making strides in their sector, building strong relationships with brokers and/or clients and contributing to the growth of their business. They will be forward thinking, inclusive and encompass what it means to be the future of the UK specialist finance and mortgage industry.

Secured Loan Lender of the Year nominees should be able to demonstrate that a significant portion of their business is dedicated to delivering secured loans. Nominees should be able to explain how their investment in elements such as technology, people, products and processes contribute to servicing the second charge market. The winner of this award will consistently have the best broker and customer outcomes in mind and this will be reflected in the growth of the business over the past 12 months.

The Specialist Lender of the Year award is open to lenders who can demonstrate that a significant portion of their business is dedicated to specialist lending. The winner will offer a competitive and flexible product portfolio covering a range of specialist finance solutions and have a proven track record of working with brokers who serve clients with complex incomes.

NEW! This category is open to all intermediary broker businesses with 51 or more advisers. Nominees should be able to demonstrate that through effective management, innovative thinking and outstanding customer service they have made their business model more robust and profitable over the past 12 months.

The winner of the Secured Loan Broker award will consistently use their expertise in the secured loan market to help attain the best products and rates for their clients’ specific circumstances. Nominees will be able to demonstrate business growth over the past 12 months with strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.

This category is open to all broker firms operating within the Greater London area. The winner of London Broker of the Year will be a firm which specialises in the region and has a deep understanding of the unique opportunities it provides. Nominees should be able to explain how possessing exceptional industry experience and knowledge while providing a seamless and personable customer service experience has contributed to business growth over the past 12 months.

Nominees should be able to demonstrate that through effective management, innovative thinking and outstanding customer service they have made their business model more robust and profitable over the past 12 months.

The winner of the Buy-to-Let Broker of the Year award will be a firm which not only boasts a broad knowledge of the complex buy-to-let market, but has established a reputation for high levels of service incorporating knowledge and integrity. Nominees will be able to demonstrate business growth over the past 12 months with strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.

The Buy-to-Let Lender of the Year nominees should be able to demonstrate that a siginficant portion of their business is dedicated to delivering buy-to-let mortgage solutions. The winner of this award will be a lender who works side by side with brokers to consistently provide innovative, personalised and flexible lending solutions within the complex buy-to-let space.

From equity release advice to emerging later life lending knowledge, nominees for the Later Life Broker of the Year award will be a business which consistently demonstrates a deep understanding of changing products. They must be proven specialists within the later life market and be able to show clear growth over the past 12 months.

Nominees of Mortgage Distributor of the Year award will work closely with both lenders and intermediaries to consistently deliver the best mortgage products and rates for the end clients’ specific circumstances. The Specialist Broker of the Year award is open to brokers who can demonstrate that a significant portion of their business is dedicated to offering their clients specialist finance solutions. The winner will have a track record in offering a range or competitive and flexible specialist finance solutions to clients with complex incomes and unique borrowing needs.

This award recognizes an outstanding female trailblazer, in any facet of the mortgage industry, whose astounding personal and professional achievements have earned them a place among the industry’s best.
